Oil Nut Bay: The Caribbean’s Leading Luxury Private Island Resort

Over 40 years ago, luxury property developer David Victor Johnson suffered a paralyzing neck injury.

Left with several bolts screwed in his neck, David’s priorities were suddenly put into perspective. Instead of continuing the path he was on, he decided to dedicate the rest of his life to creating unique, generational properties that exist in harmony with nature.

Fast forward several decades, David turned his attention to creating the ultimate sustainable, private island paradise. He searched for over 6 years and visited 13 countries trying to find the perfect location.

But time and time again he found himself coming back to the British Virgin Islands.

The first time he saw Oil Nut Bay, his heart exploded. He knew this was the place to build his master creation.

The result, now celebrating its 10-year anniversary, is a luxury private island resort in the Caribbean like no other.

Located on the eastern tip of Virgin Gorda, in the coveted North Sound neighborhood, Oil Nut Bay is blessed with a unique environment and perfect conditions that can't be found anywhere else in the world.
