The Most Anticipated Ultra-Luxury Products of 2022-2023

Few products sit at the vanguard of technology, design, and craftsmanship.

Only a small handful of companies in the world dedicate resources to testing crazy ideas, breaking new ground, and achieving the impossible.

The result of such labors of love is pieces of art that act as testaments to the ever-expanding limits of human potential. They are like diamonds—only possible due to huge spans of time and an immense amount of pressure and force.

Everyone wants to own these precious diamonds, but, due to being so exclusive, not everyone can get their hands on them.

Not only do they capture engineering breakthroughs and unique moments in history, they are also solid, tangible investments in a world rocked by economic uncertainty.

Let's take a closer look at 3 such ultra-luxury products that are some of the most highly anticipated in the 2022-2023 season.

Luxury Timepiece: Robert Dubuis Knights At The Roundtable

The legend of The Knights Of The Round Table tells the tale of a group of elite knights who were chosen to ensure the peace of King Arthur’s kingdom and undergo the mythical quest for the Holy Grail. The knights famously met at a huge round table that had no head or foot.

The circular shape of the table was key to Arthur’s goal: equal say among his elite knights. It is said that there was room for 150 knights or more at the table, however, twelve—coincidently (or not) the same number on a clock—are believed to have been particularly important.

Robert Dubuis has commemorated this legendary story with the new Knights At The Roundtable luxury timepiece collection. The watch is one of the most detailed and unusual money can buy, featuring twelve eighteen pink gold micro-sculptured knights frozen in motion, complete with medieval armor, shield, helmet, and weapons.

According to Roger Dubuis, it took nearly 2 years to get the detail right. Sapphire crystal covers the watch face, a ring of transparent sapphire crystal sits under the bezel to accentuate the figures from the side, and the crown and shoulders of the watch are shaped to resemble a sword thrust into stone – signaling Arthur’s king-making moment that wearers can now partake in when they pull the crown.

The Robert Dubuis Knights At The Roundtable luxury watch represents a rare chance to wear a legend on your wrist and is the ultimate gift for any chivalric enthusiast. Get in touch with our personal concierge and luxury travel agent team to source and acquire your legendary timepiece.

Luxury Supercar: Ferrari Daytona SP3

The Daytona SP3 is the latest in an ongoing series of Ferraris ultra-limited-edition "Icona" cars. The Icona series pays homage to the brand’s heritage through modern design and is reserved for only the most loyal and wealthiest collectors.

The Daytona SP3 looks to the past to envisage the future. The car takes on the iconic look of the sports-prototype racers that won the 1967 Daytona 24 Hours and features the equally iconic naturally aspirated mid-mounted 829-hp V-12. At the same time, the body is made from carbon fiber composites derived from aeronautics and Formula One, with a total weight of just 1485kg. Parts of the car include the tub, doors, and sills made from the same material used in nuclear power centrifuges.

Chief Design Officer Flavio Manzoni shared with TopGear Magazine about the SP3, "I think this is the best car I’ve ever been involved with… It’s a futuristic interpretation of a classic sports prototipo, and a perfect showcase for what the team at Ferrari Centro Stile can do."

Ferrari will make only 599 Daytona SP3s, each costing around 2 million euros. As you may expect, all are already spoken for and deliveries are due to start at the end of 2022. Luxury Private Jet: The Gulfstream G800

Gulfstream has been producing some of the world’s most technologically advanced business jet aircraft — more than 2,800 — setting many world's firsts, and breaking many records, since 1958.

The Gulfstream G800 is the culmination of that unparalleled 70 years of experience in private aviation. Said to be the world's longest-range business aircraft, the luxury private jet can travel further and faster than any other: 8,000 nm/14,816 km1 at Mach 0.85. This high-speed, far-range advantage is said to save passengers up to 1.5 hours on flights longer than 6,500 nm/12,038 km.

This incredible performance is thanks to its high-thrust Rolls-Royce engines combined with the industry’s most aerodynamic wing, allowing passengers to travel further and with fewer emissions. The cabin is just as cutting-edge: 3 elegantly-appointed living areas, plus a dedicated crew compartment, designed for focused work, relaxation, and sleep. The space has several configurations and can seat up to nineteen passengers and sleep up to 10.

The G800 is also an industry leader in air quality. The cabin maintains an environment of 100 percent fresh air that is renewed every 2 to 3 minutes and purified by a plasma-ionization clean air system, effectively eradicating the chances of contamination and the groggy feeling after a long-haul flight.

The G800 is set to be released in 2023 at the price of $71.5 million. Get in touch with our luxury travel agent and travel curator team to find out more about the G800 or to charter your next private business jet.
