Palazzo Positano is a historic luxury villa on the Amalfi Coast and located in an upscale residential area of Positano. Constructed in 1716, this historic villa is composed of stone walls in Pompeian red, a tone typical of the area that was first used by the Romans. Interiors feature Baroque design details combined with modern amenities like an indoor heated pool, a hydromassage Jacuzzi, a sauna, a Turkish bath, a pizza oven, sea views, porter service, housekeeping services, butler service, and daily continental breakfast.

Palazzo Positano has 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and 2 half baths and sleeps up to 8 adult guests and 1 children. The villa has two master suites, two double bedrooms, and one single bedroom perfect for a teen. A stately stone staircase leads up to the first floor, where you’ll find two master suites boasting high ceilings and en suite bathrooms. Each bedroom has a flat-screen TV and en suite bathrooms.

Throughout the home, enjoy panoramic views of the town and its colorful homes, the sea, and the nearby Galli islands. Inside the villa you’ll find exquisite design details like hand-embroidered textiles, painted wooden doors, frescoed ceilings, stucco walls, and beautiful ceramic tables.

The fully equipped kitchen has an antique stone fireplace, a flat-screen TV, an eight-range stovetop, a marble sink, and a pizza oven. Copper pots line the kitchen walls, and the dining area is ideal for sharing breakfast or morning coffee. From here, guests can step directly onto the terrace. The formal dining room has a library filled with rare books and contemporary volumes in multiple languages. An adjacent studio has a desk and a flat-screen computer for guests looking to complete work tasks while on vacation.

The villa’s wellness center has a hydromassage Jacuzzi, a Turkish bath featuring antique tiles and a terracotta floor, a sauna, a hydro-thermal therapy pool with waterfalls, Jacuzzi seats, and rotating currents. Guests can relax on the massage bed in the private massage area.

From here, step through wooden French doors and onto the terrace lined with terracotta tiles and boasting a long, built-in bench and plenty of seating to admire spectacular views of the Mediterranean and surrounding beaches. Here guests can gather for al fresco meals or sunset cocktails under a large umbrella during long summer days. Sunbathe or simply rest in the shade beside the plunge pool or in the hydromassage tub with space for two guests.

The center of town can be easily reached in a 10-minute walk, and the beach is just a 15-minute stroll from the villa.
